Prices checked on teamwork.com on October 5, 2026

Teamwork.com sells five plans: Free, Basics, Accelerate, Optimize, and Enterprise. The two cheaper paid plans have published per-user prices and seat minimums; the two that carry profitability and enterprise controls are priced on request. Below is every number from the pricing page in one place, what each plan actually includes for a client-services team, and the arithmetic for a 5-, 10-, and 20-person agency — including the part that usually decides the plan: where invoicing and profitability sit.

What each plan includes for an agency

The feature lists below are condensed from teamwork.com. They matter more than the price per seat, because the plan you need is decided by the first feature you cannot do without.

Free

$0

Up to 5 users and 5 projects. Task, list, board, Gantt, and table views, time logging, work organised by client, and chat-tool connections. A reasonable way to try the product on real work.

Basics

$9.99 per user / month, billed annually

Everything in Free, plus up to 300 projects, unlimited project templates, and billable time tracking and reporting. No invoicing, no budgets, no retainers — this plan records the work rather than billing it.

Accelerate

$24.99 per user / month, billed annually

Everything in Basics, plus workload and live capacity planning, time budgets and retainers, client invoicing from logged time, intake forms, more automations, and the HubSpot and QuickBooks integrations. This is the first plan that can bill a client.

Optimize

On request

Everything in Accelerate, plus quotes, a CRM pipeline that turns into projects, resource scheduling by role and skill, multi-currency financial budgets, and revenue, cost, and profitability insights, with Salesforce and NetSuite integrations. This is where profit per project and client lives.

Enterprise

On request

Everything in Optimize, plus single sign-on, advanced security enforcement, a dedicated success manager, and priority support.

According to teamwork.com, every plan includes role-based permissions, desktop and mobile apps, US or EU data hosting, two-factor authentication, and SOC 2 compliance.

What a 5, 10, or 20-person agency actually pays

Per-user prices multiply quickly. Here is the monthly bill at the published prices — remember that annual billing is paid upfront for the year.

TeamBasics, annualBasics, monthlyAccelerate, annualAccelerate, monthly
5 people$49.95 / mo ($599.40 / yr)$69.95 / mo$124.95 / mo ($1,499.40 / yr)$149.95 / mo
10 people$99.90 / mo ($1,198.80 / yr)$139.90 / mo$249.90 / mo ($2,998.80 / yr)$299.90 / mo
20 people$199.80 / mo ($2,397.60 / yr)$279.80 / mo$499.80 / mo ($5,997.60 / yr)$599.80 / mo

Seat minimums apply: a two-person studio on Basics pays for three seats ($29.97 a month billed annually), and a three-person team on Accelerate pays for five ($124.95). Optimize and Enterprise are not in the table because their prices are not published.

The catch: where invoicing and profitability sit

Time tracking is on every plan, including Free. Invoicing clients from logged time, time budgets, and retainers start on Accelerate. Profit by project and client, cost and fixed-fee budgets, multi-currency budgets, and role and client rates start on Optimize, which has no published price.

For an agency, that means three different answers to “how much does Teamwork cost”: the plan that records the work is $9.99 a seat, the plan that bills it is $24.99, and the plan that tells you whether the work paid is a conversation with sales. If profitability is the reason you are shopping, budget for Optimize, not Accelerate.

Billing details worth knowing

  • Annual billing is prepaid and discounted; the published per-user prices assume it. Monthly billing costs more but can be cancelled anytime, with access running to the end of the billing period.
  • Upgrades and extra users can be added at any time; downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
  • Every paid plan comes with a 14-day free trial, no credit card required.
  • Monthly plans are paid by card; annual plans can also be paid by bank transfer.
  • Teamwork AI is included in paid plans for an introductory period, and the pricing page announces usage-based AI credits.

Is Teamwork.com worth it for a small agency?

If project delivery is the hard part — dependencies, Gantt charts, workload across many concurrent projects, collaborating with clients inside the project — Teamwork is a strong product, and Accelerate is fairly priced for what it does.

If the hard part is money — which clients and projects are profitable, what each person costs against what they bill, invoices and payments in more than one currency — you need Optimize on Teamwork. CrewDriven is built for exactly that question at 2–25 people: clients, per-assignment rates, time, invoices, and a monthly P&L per client and project. It is free during the launch period, and after launch you pay only for the modules you switch on. You can create a free workspace and compare it against your own numbers.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Teamwork.com cost per user in 2026?
Checked on October 5, 2026: Basics costs $9.99 and Accelerate $24.99 per user per month billed annually, or $13.99 and $29.99 billed monthly. Free costs nothing for up to 5 users and 5 projects. Optimize and Enterprise are priced on request.

Which Teamwork.com plan includes invoicing?
Accelerate is the first plan with client invoicing from logged time, together with time budgets and retainers. Basics and Free track time but do not invoice.
Which Teamwork.com plan shows project profitability?

Is annual or monthly billing better?

What is a cheaper option for a small agency that needs profitability?
If you mainly need profit per client and project, invoicing, and multi-currency payments rather than deep project management, CrewDriven covers that for teams of 2–25 and is free during its launch period. If you need Teamwork’s project management depth, compare Accelerate plus a separate profitability tool against Optimize.
